Coughing

Aunt Nicky recently taught me how to cough. I am kind of a copycat right now so she loves that.

Go Vikings

Mom, dad and I headed out to the ranch early morning last Saturday. We wanted to go help Grandpa for the day and so I could run around and play with the animals. Mom and dad didn't plan very well and it was a chilly morning, so Grandma hunted for some clothes she had at her house and found uncle Mark's old Vikings outfit. I think it looked pretty good on me, but my
dad wasn't so sure!

Love the Horses

I got to ride on the horses in the pasture when we were at grandma and grandpa's. They love to sniff me and give me kisses.

Fun day at the Ranch

We helped grandpa move in a few cows with new baby calves and I got to ride the 4-wheeler. I love to ride the 4-wheeler all around.

Hanging with my dad

I can't wait for my dad to get home at night so we can hangout.

Fun day at the Park

We went to the park the other day when it was so beautiful out. I love spending time going on the swings and walking around on the big playground sets.

Hot Hot

I know how to blow on my food when it is hot.

I Love Chocolate!

Yummy, Yummy, Yum! I am pretty sneaky, I found the Hersheys chocolate in the fridge and managed to get it open. Needless to say, there was a little chocolate on the floor.

Swimming in my frog

Last week was a beautiful week of 80 degree weather so mom set up my frog pool and I spent a lot of time enjoying the water.

Big Help

I love to climb into the dishwasher and see if I can help. Most of the time, I am not much help.

Playing on the Deck

I love playing out on our deck. I have fun blue sand that I love digging my fingers into in my sandbox.

Fun in the Basket

Mom found me playing in my basket where she keeps my shoes. I took all the shoes out and climbed in.

Corn on the cob

I really enjoy to eat corn on the cob. I think it's because it is so messy.

Life in Aberdeen

Hello to All! Sorry, it has taken us so long to update my blog. We moved into our new home on August 20th, celebrated to parties...my 1st birthday and dad's congratulations party. Needless to say, we haven't had much time for bloggin'. Hopefully, mom will have a little more time now that we are all settled and moved in.
Mom is currently enjoying spending time with me and not in too much of a hurry to find a job. We are looking forward to joining a music class and swimming lessons for me. Maybe, she will just stay home full time and spend lots of time playing with me. I think that would be great!
As for my dad, he started his new job on Sept.2nd with Aberdeen Surgical Associates. He is doing lots and lots of general surgery and loving it. We are so proud of him, he passed his written boards in the 90%. What a relief!
So far, life is great in Aberdeen. We love our new home and have met some nice neighbors. We have a couple wonderful friends just across the street. They both have a boy my age that I enjoy playing with. We miss all our friends in Colorado and hope to see them someday soon.
Enjoy the new pictures of me, I have changed a lot in the past few weeks. I have almost 8 teeth, walking all over, copying actions and almost words that mom and dad say, and getting quite a head of hair. I am just too cute!

1st Birthday Party

We celebrated my first birthday by having lots of wonderful friends and family over. I received lots of wonderful gifts...a new car, tool station, trucks, cars, planes, books, balls, shoes, clothes, a popcorn maker and so much more. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with me and for all the wonderful presents.

Happy Birthday Kalen!

Today, my actual birthday I hung out with mom and dad for the day. We relaxed and got

ready for a super fun party for me the next day.

1 Week at Grandma and Grandpa Rauschs

I got the opportunity to spend a whole week at Grandma and Grandpa Rausch's for the week when mom and dad got ready for our big move.
"Boy, was it Fun"! I got royally spoiled, started walking like a mummy all over their house, played with lots of animals and went on lots of fourwheeler rides.
It took me a little time to warm back up to mom and dad...kind of clinging to grandma, but soon released my grudge and couldn't get enough of mom and dad.

Fun Times In Pierre, SD

We enjoyed some R & R time in Pierre at Grandma and Grandpa Larsons before we headed on our way to Aberdeen. Fun times were spent on the river enjoying the wonderful weather. Also, great food and a wonderful fish fry at Misty and Heath's. The best part was that the whole family was there for the weekend. We look forward to many more fun times like these.

House Pictures

Here are a few of our new home pictures. Couple of the kitchen, basement bar, livingroom, and front of our house.
